Essential Duties: |
-
The ideal candidate will take responsibility for develop and
implement one to several modules and integrate it in our H.264
codec based solutions.
-
The candidate will develop solution focusing on module
portability and architecture efficiency under a hardware point
of view as well as code footprint. He should port the code in a
professionally crafted manner on one DSP (either ARM9 or TMS320
series)
-
The candidate will work closely with other team members to
quickly integrate fully functional modules.
-
The candidate should be able to function within highly talented
specialized team environment with limited supervision and is
expected to coordinate with others to accomplish project tasks.

Time frame: 6 months+.

Qualifications:

- Graduating
Master student (PhD candidate is a +)
- Video coding
knowledge (MPEG standard,...) .
- Thorough C++
skill.
- Good
communication skill

Preferred Experience: |
- Assembly hand-on
(MMX or any other one including VHDL/Verilog code).
- C++ hand-on.
- Familiar with
usual development tools (VC.net, CodeWarrior, gcc, control
version system…).

Essential Duties: |

The ideal candidate
will take responsibility for develop a multi video camera
streaming solution over stringent bandwidth and real-time
constraint.

The candidate will
develop solution focusing on module portability and code
footprint, which could ideally be demonstrated on handheld
devices
-
In a first step the
streaming will use a wired connection, and in a second step it
will use an IEEE802.11 protocol.

The candidate will
work closely with other team members to quickly integrate fully
functional products.

The candidate should
be able to function within highly talented specialized team
environment with limited supervision and is expected to
coordinate with others to accomplish project tasks.
